Pours a dark amber color with a medium tan head. The aroma is full of citrus and hops, some light caramel also. The taste was quite nice; lots of caramel malts, balanced well by a nice hoppy bite. Some citrus and a smooth medium body. Nice. Very quaffable. AmEricanbrew (1946), orange, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2008 All the Stone trademarks are visible here: bold, robust flavour, hefty malt backbone, semi-syrupy sweetness. All in all a balanced Amber that fits my autumn mood. Colour was mahogany red with some golden hue thrown in for good measure. Nose was caramel, apricot, hoppy, and woodsy. The finish was long-lasting an left a good impression, Amber ales being not one of my most cherished drinks, this one left me feeling pretty good. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Bottled. Clear copper color, big off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, some pine. Thin taste of caramel malt, bitter, slight citrus. Decent, mostly because of the low ABV. Good aroma, but thin taste. danielcurtis81 (912), San Diego, California, USA
