Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a clear amber golden with a yellowish/brown head. Hard roasted malt and spices in the nose. Quite full-bodied, hard roasted malt and a piquante spicy note that never becomes too much. Fairly bitter finish - most likely from the spices also. But not a bad stab at a Holiday ale. 270609

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours a dark brow color with a small white head. Aroma is filled with spices, nuts, caramel and lightly of chocolate and some gingerbread. Also a bit vinous. Flavour is - as the aroma - really spicy and Christmas-like, with clear nutty notes, though I must say the aftertaste is a bit short. Fullbodied on the palate, smooth texture, and soft carbonation. A quite nice beer.

Bottle shared by DuffmanSW. Pours a clear dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is surprisingly mild, slightly herbal with some caramel and spice. Flavor is somewhat bitter with roast and spice. Palate is creamy and smooth with low carbonation.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting light brown head. Hazy ruby body. Powerful spicy aroma with nutty notes and a good deal of hops as well. Flavor an interesting and complex mix of spices and herbs with a bit of mint and caramel but not especially hoppy. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste.

Athens, Ga. - Five Points Bottle Shop - 12 oz bottle. Dark chestnut pour with a thin off-white head. Fragrant aroma of Christmas spices, licorice, Nekot candy wafers. Good bold flavor with some licorice, amaretto, juniper berries all blended together well for an interesting concoction. Mouthfeel is slick and creamy. Good collaboration.

It poured a dark brown liquid with red tones and a small foam that left just a little lacing. It smelled spicey and christmasy also something that I related to pumpkin seeds. Now that I see the name at ratebeer I realise that must be it. It had a complex spicey flavor that I had a hard time placing and a hint of nuts and a warm alcoholic finish. Very nice!
