Quite full-bodied, hard roasted malt and a piquante spicy note that never becomes too much. Fairly bitter finish - most likely from the spices also. But not a bad stab at a Holiday ale. 270609

Jul 18, 2009 12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight unclear and dark redish to deep amber flavoured with a small white head. Mild spiced and roasted malt aroma. Sweet fruity, roasted malt and distinct pumpkin spiced. Smooth and with a little twist. Bitter and slight acidic spiced finish.

Aug 9, 2009 Bottled. Copper colour, small head. Spicy cinnamon/chestnut aroma. Sweet and full bodied with clean mouthfeel. Thick and syrupy, with some caramel and choclate together with a hefty dose of spices and bitter hops. Warming nd intense, but also bold and clumsy. More power than finesse.

Clear red brown color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy spicy, strawberry, juniper, ginger, nutty notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081230]

Apr 12, 2009 Bottled. Reddish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caraway, juniper and lots of other spices, nuts and also some hoppy notes come through. Flavour is quite much the same. A real spicebomb which kicks you brutally in the face.
