Aroma is malty / caramel with light hop.
Taste, just an amazing barley, plenty of sweetness (sugar), and nice caramel malts accompanied by nice fruit notes. Leaves a light toffe mouthfeel, with a small lingering bitter hop finish. Snoop59 (71), Penn Run, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 19, 2008 2008 Vintage. Pours a hazy opaque amber honey color. The head is a thick butterscotch color with a little bit of lacing. Sort of fizzy and disappears after a few seconds. The aroma is a sweet malty caramel with some musty hops and alcohol. The flavor has some mild hops but it is still really hot. Has a rich toffee and creamy caramel. The palate seems like this could be poured over ice cream. Nicely balanced and I’m sure it will be outstanding with a couple of years on it.
