Pours a deep golden orange-copper with a creamy ecru head. The nose is a nice blend of perfumy, floral, citric and evergreen hop notes over a warm, round, fruity malt. Medium-bodied and soft on the tongue, it turns a bit prickly and fairly bitter at the finish. The flavor is of sweet, round malt with the same blend of hop notes found on the nose. This stuff is quite tasty. Thanks again for the bottle, Pete! kyzr (1127), Belgrade, Montana, USA

So I pull out my microscope and read the whole thing off and by the end he’s almost done with the brew. Needless to say, he was in a much more intense mood than I by the end of the description. ditmier (1110), Boise, Idaho, USA

As it sat, the alcohol mellows, or maybe its just my brain going numb. One sip tells you its Stone, I’m guessing it will be better in a couple years... BOLTZ7555 (1107), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 26, 2009 Fiery burnt orange body with a towering milky white head. Thick and syrupy...coats the inside of the glass and leaves tremendous sticky lacing. Aroma is brown sugar, toffee, and caramel with a hint of ripe citrus. Flavor follows; not overly sweet but does have a bit of an alcohol punch. Another solid brew from Stone.
