Hoppy (pine) bouquet up front supported by subtle malt fragrances. Big hop flavor, again supported by a fruit maltiness, followed by a fair amount of hop bitterness, but not too much for the style. Malt flavors become more assertive, bringing out pear and toffee, as the beer warms into the 50s. Creamy, almost slick mouthfeel, and a clean, biscuity finish. Won’t be my favorite , unlike a lot of purported APAs, it definitely nails the style.

A darker, more rich pour than expected, deep amber, leaving about .5 finger of off-white head. The nose was more bitter than expected, medium sweaty hops... also some light citrus/ sour notes. Taste also has a similar balance, higher hop content than I expected from the style (nice surprise again), offset with the citrus and sugars. Easily sessionable brew, very satisfying. Light caramel in color, with clean white head. Moderately carbonated, not too overpowering. One of my favorite pale ales, as it is incredibly well balanced. JBVatkeens (10), Florida, USA

Citrus hoppy smells, grapefruit perhaps, nice mellow malts, maybe even orange peel oil. Nicely balanced hops with the malt, no lingering bitterness. Citrus is present but not as much as in the smell. Slightly under-carbonated but creamy and a little watery on the finish.Very drinkable and smooth pale ale.
