Oct 5, 2008 bottle. Stone is finally in GA!!! I have had many of their beers before, but am so amped that they are within an arm’s reach now. This has to be one of the best APA’s available on the market.... simply wonderful. pours a deep amber/copper with a good sized white head. You can smell the hops as you pour it... Stone never lets you down in that dept. very pleasant hop aroma with some citrus and bread notes. very full body with the hops up front and very smooth over the top and sides. solid bitter finish for an APA. solid session beer.... one of my new favorites for middle of the day drinking.

Oct 5, 2008 Bright clear amber pour with generous off-white head and nice lacing. I really like this beer, and I’m not a huge lover of pale ales. Pine wood, a bit of earthy dust, and some toffee on the nose, with more of a hint of hops than a full noseful. Some biscuit, grain and fruit in the mouth and a touch of sweetness. Also nice floral hints. Very malty for a pale ale, I think. Very satisfying. My new session beer...

Oct 4, 2008 Dark golden pour. Good hop aroma, pine, some citrus. Lively mouthfeel. Nice maltiness for a pale, mellowing the hops nicely. A little biscuit and citrus. This was a real nice example of the style. I think many brewers forget they are not making and IPA when they brew their standard pales. Have not been disappointed yet with any Stone brews thus far, plus the bottles give you something to read.

Oct 4, 2008 Bottle.Reddish brown pour,with a huge light tan head that slowly went down to a thin ring and stayed till the end. A nice subtle hop aroma,with a hint of roasted malt. The flavor is of hops,malt,and bread dough, with the amount of malt here you would expect it to be sweeter but instead it has just a nice dry hop finish,and I think I detected a slight alcohol taste at the end. Very Good , Will buy again .

Sep 30, 2008 On tap at flying saucer. Has a clear amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is verry hoppy and sweet with caramel. Good lacing on the glass. The taste is very hoppy with a dry finish. Easy to drink for a good session beer. A good pale ale from stone.
