| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 28, 2009 Bottle. 12 oz. Pours murky orangish-amber with a thick, but quickly receding off-white head. Aroma of caramel, grapes, apple, yeast, barley, dry hops, and vanilla. Body is outrageously smooth and refreshing; full, yet not overwhelming. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky, but still clean. Finishes slowly with a bit of tart which lingers on the tongue for awhile. Excellent pale ale. FortyFirkins (27), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Malty nose with toasted bread and sugars. Big hops in the taste but does not overpower notes of caramel and citrus. Slightly bitter mouth feel, though entirely expected for the style. Very nice pale ale. yesyouam (611), Fairport, New York, USA

A darker, more rich pour than expected, deep amber, leaving about .5 finger of off-white head. The nose was more bitter than expected, medium sweaty hops... also some light citrus/ sour notes. Taste also has a similar balance, higher hop content than I expected from the style (nice surprise again), offset with the citrus and sugars. Easily sessionable brew, very satisfying.
