Commercial Description:
So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

Love the 12ozers. Poured amber with a white head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Some orange flavor with lemon. Pine hint. Finished wet.

Its like an entire pine forest in a bottle! There are few beers that are more bitter than this beast! Tons of pine and grassy flavors with some citrus and flowers too. this is about as intense as they come and that makes it fun to drink!

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a small, white head. As expected, you get hit right in the face with hops. Big citrus notes are there with some pine thrown in for good measure. Behind all of the hops some musty malt aromas lurk. Medium carbonation with a rich mouthfeel. Full bodied for sure, this one has some chewiness to it. Strong citrus, pine, and resin notes on the palate. A nice spice comes along for the ride too. What surprises me is how well balanced this beer is. Nice honey notes help balance out all those hops. A strong lingering bitterness dominates the finish. Beautiful lacing the whole way down to boot. Surprisingly drinkable, I will definitely be keeping some of these around!

crazy good ipa. tons of piney and citrus hops on the nose. drinking is a pleasure as the bitter gritty hop notes hit you first followed up by citrus touches. one of the most well balanced beers i’ve drank. fantastic

..When I go out to dinner with a group of friends and someone offers to pay for the check, I immediately reach for my wallet because inside is a note that says ’say thanks’...

This IPA is the real deal. Heavily hopped beer, aroma is fairly light, bitter and alcohol finish - but I didn’t taste the citrus many others claim, a good IPA and worthy of your time

Aroma of citrus and pine hops but not as strong as I expected. Color is copper orange with a nice white head and good lacing. Some suspended red flecks. Taste of bitter hops, but not nearly as bitter as expected. Grapefruit aftertaste. Nice bite but not overpowering. Not a bad beer, but I don’t think it comes close to living up to it’s claim.
