Commercial Description:
So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

Bottle, pours a cloudy yellow beer with a fluffy white hear. Aroma is sweet citrus pine and hops. Flavor is also sweet citrus hops with a note of pine, clean mouthfeel with a bitter dry end. very nice beer I would!

Pours orange with a nice floral aroma. Quite hoppy, but not overbearingly. Well balanced for a strong IPA. Very good beer.

Pours dull orange with yellow hints and light and fluffy white foam which forms in drifts around the sides of the glass. A candy floss sweetness with a stabby hop flavour underneath. Quite fruity in a slightly tropical way. Very promising multi-layered aroma. Big, hard-hitting hops threaten to overwhelm but just as they teeter on the edge of too-muchness they recede. What follows is a candied peach smoothness. The after effects contain much hoppy bitterness but the fruit lingers too. Terribly well judged. Very tingly in the mouth. Smooth and oily thick. Another fantastic brew from Stone. How I wish these were easier to get hold of in the UK. Really balanced and darned tootin’.

Pours orange with a nice fluffy white head. Tons of hoppy aroma. Flavor is hoppy bitterness, but not overly so. This is actually pretty well balanced in spite of the warnings on the bottle. Very Good

Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. This was definitely an in your face gargle, and well worthy of bringing up my 500th rate. Poured a rich coppery gold colour with a pillowy white head. Aroma was very bright, loadsa fruity hop combined with sweet chewy toffee malt. Very up front flavour that grabs your taste buds and gives them a good throttle. Big sacks of grassy, fruity hops, grapefuit and a decent amount of malt that all leaves a fabulous bitterness. I can see how this might not be to everyone’s taste, but this is a fabulous drink.

Wonderful IPA. Honey gold in color with just touch of amber thrown in. Nose definitely has lots of wild floral aromas with some lemon citrus notes. Smooth has can be on the palate. So much to enjoy here. Easy to drink for an IPA that’s ramped up in alcohol content. Bitter in finish but not overwhelmingly so. Favorite beer in quite some time. How have I been missing this?

Pours golden with a little haze and white head. Nice upfront hops with citrus, lemon peel, and pine flavors. Moderate to heavy bitterness on the finish that lingers. A very nice IPA.

If I was a Hop-Head, I would be in heaven, but since I am not, this beer is a mission to finish, but still fun. It glows a glorious orange and releases a wave of fantastic smell. It has a flavor that continually permeates your mouth. It has no head, but fine lacing.
