Commercial Description:
So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

I’m somewhat new to IPA’s but this was definitely the most unique i’ve tried. it had a golden orangish color in the glass, and had a very fruity/citrus aroma. went down very smooth. highly recommended!

Bottle, clear orange with a medium white head, aroma of orange, butter and apricots with a pineapple notes, bitter overwhelming flavor with some apricot, orange, pineapple and creamy mouthfeel, full bodied great finish, like it alot.

For a newfound "hop head", this is quite impressive! Hazy, golden/amber in appearance. The floral aroma is nice. Taste with very piney and citrus notes. Leaves a very hoppy impression for those who love this!

Had right after DogFish 90 . Another hop tonic in this Hop beast...Waxy,dry, piney and a little syrupy and sticky..lots of peach..earth..grass ..pines..grapefruit and low caramel. Well worth the enterance money.

12 oz bottle from Casanova. Cloudy orange pour with a thick foamy white head. Big hops aroma with citrus notes. Medium mouthfeel some decent lacing. Major hops flavor with the citrus coming through quite nicely in the finish, which sits on your tongue reminding you of the massive hops in this brew. Fans of the hops, this beer is for us.

Has an aroma that makes you feel like you stepped into a Christmas tree lot. Pine, earthy and dry. Not as overpowering as I was expecting.

Pour from their "large" bottle. Golden amber color with good carbonation and frothy head. Pleasant floral aroma, but based on the description was expecting a bit more of a punch to the nose. Taste is floral and grapefruit. Not overpowering but on the high end of hoppy. Some sweetness, but definately an afterthought. A very strong showing for an IPA, in my opinion.

Bottle from Frugal Mac’s, shared with DominusCV. Pours a deep gold, with a fair-sized white head. Aroma is rather flowery. Taste is a full bouquet. Hoppy as hell, but there’s something rather floral and sweet about it. Goes awesome with cheese.
