Probiere (992), Iowa, USA Feb 24, 2004 Alright, well, I was wrong. Less sweetness didn't improve this any--they went straight from juicy to puckering. Few aromatics, a whiff of must and dust. Body is good, with soft carbonation, but hell, there was no apple taste to it. I guess I better stick to fresh cider, if I can ever find unpasteurized cider again. |=( ciderguy (97), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 12, 2004 Even more disappointing than their Semi-Sweet offering. Nose was pretty favorable as it was subtle wood barrel over apples. Appearance was quite light with a descent head. Flavor at the was begining was so tart it bordered on sour. Finished a little softer, but didn't leave any qualities to let you know it was of crisp orchard apples. Not their best offering.
