Bomber from Mullet2007! Thanks! My first NF beer and the first US rater of this! Nose is sweet raspberries, me being familiar with the aroma as we have been eating them here fresh for a month! The nose also has some faint caramel malt; hazy amber-orange with a medium off-white head; flavor has hop bitterness along with raspberry tartness, the two contrasting opposites making it an interesting and different beer than the Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat I drank yeasterday; finish has light raspberry sweetness.

bottle from Mullet2007. thanks! murky orange pour, nice off white head. Aroma is very much raspberries, but kinda artificial though. Some nice malt, and some yeastiness. Flavour is sweet, and and almost chewy. Leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste, but the raspberry lingers. A nice summer beer.

Very carbonated. Dark yellow. Holds a half inch head. Beer and raspberry aroma. Real berry bitterness. Chewy enough to mull on for a pint or two in the sun. Not a strong fruitiness but enough base beer.

Bottle in St. John’s. Pours golden-red with a white head. Aroma of raspberries, hops. Strong wheat flavour and definite real raspberries. Crisp, a bit too sweet, but a nice beer. Definitely would try it again.

Thanks for the bottle Tony! Pours a slight hazed, sparkling yellow body. Thin frothed fizz leaving no lace, and no retention. Aromas are perfumed raspberries, tonic water, hoppy perrier, sugars. Tastes sweet with a dry, tart raspberry dominance. Spritzy perfumey hops and fruit, with koolaid ish flavous here. Too carbonated for me. Thanks Tony!

650 ml bottle. Pours a golden colour with an hint of red. Thin white head which quickly diminishes to a thin ring. Aroma is all Raspberries There is grain and berries in the taste of this one but its too thin.

Pours an orangey-copper with a stark white foamy head that doesn’t last long at all. Crystal clear (in an orangey-copper way). Aroma is very reminiscent of sumac as far as I’m concerned (which smells like raspberries, so the point is somewhat redundant). The aroma takes me right back to Ontario winters and Staghorn Sumac tea... I could smell this stuff all day long. The mouthfeel is nice and crisp. This is a refresher. Tastes like raspberries, all sour and tangy, with a mild mild mild sweetness that avoids the pitfalls of many other raspberry wheat ales by going the sickly sweet cough syrup route. The finish is ever-so-slightly bitter, without the metallic overtones that bad (and usually artificial) raspberry flavours bring. The aftertaste is mild at first, getting a little tangier for a short time, before fading without puckering your mouth up. I find the whole thing nice and pleasant--not hit-you-over-the-head fruity (which would be too forceful, as far as I’m concerned), but enough to keep me interested. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I don’t find this to be uninspired. I see it as well-restrained to prevent it from being just another novelty fruit beer. I could actually drink this on a regular basis.
