(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Moderately sweet and distinctively grainy aroma with a delicate herbal hoppy note. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Pale malt-character, grainy taste with a light but rounded hoppy touch, leading into a moderately dry sweet-bitter finish. Balanced Helles (15.VII.09).

Bottle (thanx to Garching!): Golden, visible carbonation, bigger creamy and lacy white head; light sweetish-grainy aroma with a light hayish-hoppy background; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, soft & light bodied; pale malt in the short bitter-sweet finish. a well rounded Helles................

The bottle looks good (a little bit different than almost all Stöttner-bottles), the beer in the glass is zippy, huge head. Starts somehow hard, modest dry, hoppy background. Finish is spicy and a bit moldy. Drinkable and good beer!

Bottle. Light grainy, grassy aroma. Pale golden, light carbonation, low creamy head. Fairly grainy and hayish base, ok herbal and grass hop counterpoint in the background. They went for a Landbier approach, but a light one at that. Quick finish. Designed for quaffability, but not in a uninspired way. Light grass and flowers on the palate in the aftertaste.

500ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Oktoberfest 2009)
Pale gold, small head. Sweet fruity lagery aroma, but not very big at all. Sweet simple lagery taste, and a slight hoppy bite too, which is a touch numbing. Slight creaminess. Finish is a bit dull. Overall quite crisp and an OK refreshing quaff if thirsty. Unusually, not shared by Anna.
