Pours pale copper with a small head and great lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Balanced. Palate is creamy and tart. Decent session brew, but nothing special. Hoppy but nicely balanced flavor, some spiciness and citrus flavor. Lightly bitter finish. Light bodied and easy to drink. guzzler67 (1286), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 12, 2008 One of those beers you’ve been drinking for years but, for some reason, have never rated. Anyway, a clear amber appearance with a medium size, off white head and very good lacing. Grassy, flowery, slightly herbal hop aroma. Earthy, well hopped taste, nicely balanced by toasted malts. Medium-bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel; dry, bitter, lengthy finish. Has always been very reliable. jlthiering (47), Viginia Beach, Maryland, USA

The aroma has caramel malt, some diacetyl and a little bit of hoppy spice. Medium crisp body with semi-sharp prickly carbonation. The flavor starts with spicy / woody hops and some malt in the background. The finish has more spicy hops and some oxidation. Decent APA. toddkrem (81), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 26, 2008 April 2006 - Had on tap, which always helps. This was a pleasant surprise. I have to say, this beer reminds me an awful lot of Troegs Nugget Nectar (and that ain’t a bad thing)...although a little lighter. Poured with amber/orangey color with nice head and lacing. Citrus flavor, predominantly sweet orangey flavor, dominated this one, but not overdone. I thought this had a very mild level of bitterness for an APA...which I like. Nice and sweet, but not overly so, nice and bitter, but not overly so. I could drink this very regularly...Thumbs up!
