Mild grassy hop aroma with some light biscuity malt behind. Taste lacks in the hops a bit, with the character that is there not really having as much zip as Cascades should have. Still, the finish is somewhat bitter and dry. I did expect a more pronounced hop character from a Stoudts Pale, though. Radek Kliber (3986), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Appearance : Light amber , clear brew with good dense ivory top 3+. Nose : Refreshing and clean .Good solid malt presence with spicy and citric hops. Mineral like end. Flavour/Palate : Medium body. Mineral, earthy in charter . Some woody malts , hint of cinnamon. Warming alcohol with clean punch of hops. I like that mineral accent of Europe in American style. Not as hoppy as hop head wished for buy enjoyable beyond norm. Stoudts make solid brews and this one is no exception.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 11, 2007 This one had a nice biscuity/malt presence that I like in pale ales. Nice balance with hops. Although something was little off, there was some sort of spicyness that I think came from the hops. Nevertheless, pretty fair example of the style. Not bad. jrohn92 (105), USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 2, 2007 Bottlte. Pours polished brass color with big off-white head. The aroma is big with toast and pine, then some mango and sap. The flavor is slight astringent and citrus hops with a biscuit dough malt taste. The finish can be a little soapy from time to time. As it warms it gets some papery notes, too. Sigmund (2300), Hafrsfjord, Norway

Orange coloured beer, large and lasting off-white head with an orangey hue. Initially very nice Cascade aroma, citrus and floral notes, diminishes after a while in the glass. The flavour is very well balanced between the malts and hops, Cascade and Warrior hops have a distinct presence throughout, but are not overdone. Bitter aftertaste. A very drinkable and refreshing beer! jblendy (518), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Pours opaque golden copper with a small off-white head. Light, but pleasant floral and slightly citric hop aroma. Flavor is also on the light side with straight-forward bitterness, and some roasted malt. Palate is medium, but watery, with some slight lingering bitterness. Very middle of the road APA, not bad, but nothing to write home about.
