| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2007 Bottle (12oz). Mostly clear bubbly amber with a smallish white foamy/fizzy head. Mildly toasted malt aroma, light herbal/tea-like dry hops, a hint of citrus zest. The taste has even more iced tea character - with lemon - grassy/herbal dry hops - simple, the citrus tartness makes for a crisp finish. Light body, well carbonated, lightly astringent, no aftertaste. Straightforward APA, would be no chore to kill a sixer of it. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 9, 2007 12 oz bottle (thanks to jmichael!). Pours a clear copper with a small head. Nose is mostly malts and some floral hops. Taste starts with some caramel, then some pear, and some floral grassy hops. There is some orange peel in the aftertaste. Body is light, carbonation average. A pretty good but unexciting pale Ale. Borrrris (99), LINDENHURST, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2007 ON TAP at The Landing, New Hope PA. As expected from Stoudts, good enough not to have been ruined by the disinterested staff here who served it barely cool in a warm glass. Inviting floral hoppy aroma. Uniform, fine carbonation. Lack of any head no doubt due to delay in bringing it to our table (see above). Flavor is more malty than other APAs I have sampled - nicely balanced with a lingering hops finish. BUY AGAIN? Yes- especially at the brewery the next time I an in Adamstown. robozni (7), USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 5, 2007 Pours an amber gold-like color, one finger of head. Aroma is hoppy. Flavor is malt with citrus hops. Palate is smooth. Went great with cheese bratwurst. Glazed9884 (207), USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 28, 2007 12oz bottle. Best by 8/13/07. Pours like apple juice with a small, foamy white head. Aroma is carmel, honey, malts. Very balanced to the malt side. Seems more like an amber based on the aroma with almost no hop presence. Taste is smooth, balanced, with a slight bitterness. Sweet, honey flavor in there too. This definitely is a malty, caramely pale ale. It’s good, but a little more hops in there wouldn’t hurt anyone.
