Clear with active carbonation and a patchy head. Simple hop flavors but enjoyable, a nice session ale. Decent palate but slightly biting. JAF737300 (801), Tampa, Florida, USA

It stil hasd heavy notes of hops with a light gold color. The mouthfeel shows notes of citrus fruit but with a very fair amount of balance. oh6gdx (9115), Vasa, Finland
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 16, 2007 Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a nice fluffy/bubblyish white head, which vanishes quite fast though. Aroma is caramel malts, fruity hops and some very nectarish-sugary hints along. Flavour is more dull, some citrus fruits, malts, hops and slight acidicness. Not a bad brew, but the flavour was a disappointment, compared to what the aroma promised. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 11, 2007 Orange, with a foamy, off-white head. Piney, herbal aroma. Nicely mixed notes of bread, spruce, pine and a touch of citrus. Really solid, well made everyday drinker, assuming you can find it in your area, which I can’t. And drink every day, which I don’t. So for me, this would be a "solid, well-made drink it when you find it and on those occasions when you are settled down to enjoy a beer" beer. Am I rambling? I think I’m rambling... cheapdark (2050), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 2, 2007 On tap at the Bocktown in Robinson. Very cool patriotic tap handle. The aroma of this is mildly perfumy floral and fruity. The color of this is nothing special, just your typical pale yellow american beer color, but what else would you expect for an american ale? Has a white head. The first taste inpression is that of mild hops, perhaps a little less than I expected for an APA. I have tasted many other APA that were more intensely hopped. This makes iit very drinkable in my opinion because I don’t care for hopped beers. Medium low carbonation. The hoppiness comes across as just enough to make it interesting without being oppressive. Has the right amount for personality without being uncontrolled. Finish is mild or medium hop bitterness that lasts for a few moments. The finish is not medicinal or acrid in any way, I’d say it is even controlled to an extent. Even tho I cannot appreciate this style, this is certainly one of the better APAs I’ve ever tasted after about a dozen. Palidor19 (1798), Brandon, Florida, USA

Malts are balanced, over all, an excellent session beer jeremytoni (1127), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

Hoppy aroma with tones of citrus, mostly oranges and also some grassy notes. Light caramelly malt and hints of yeast. Undertones of violet, hyacinth and some nutty cheese. Hoppy flavour with tones of oranges and grapefruit. Finish rather dry and spicy bitter, almost a bit rough. Slightly watery, light body.
