| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 11, 2006 Clear amber, large head, decent lacing. Aroma is PNW hops with grapefruit and citrus. Fairly chewy malt backbone for an APA. Very drinkable, very well balanced. Awesome APA... like a better version of ’the rest.’ Alpha King was still more enjoyable, but this one had a better body. unclemattie (2414), Georgia, USA

Everything this brewery does, I’ve been impressed with. The beer is deep, clear and orange in color. Nice eggshell colored foamy head. simple malt aroma, yet appears hearty. Very balanced, with a great hop bit at the end. I’ve had IPAs that are less hopped than this beer. It may be the best PA I’ve had. Very bitter finish. Very well balanced and refreshing. Poured clear deep yellow with small white head. Soft carbonation. Hoppy malt aroma. Light-to-medium bodied American pale ale that starts dry with light malt sweetness and hoppy flavor. Finished with light bitterness. Somewhat unbalanced hoppy beer lacking sufficient malt foundation. Hopheads will love this brew. Enjoyed with beer-loving family members during the 4th of July weekend.
