Commercial Description:
This uniquely American beer offers a crisp, medium-body with a light amber color. It is assertively hopped with Pacific Northwest Cascades for a firm bitterness and delightfully floral aroma.

About to go cut the lawn in the back yard s I’ll make this quick. Everything this brewery does, I’ve been impressed with. The beer is deep, clear and orange in color. Nice eggshell colored foamy head. simple malt aroma, yet appears hearty. Very balanced, with a great hop bit at the end. I’ve had IPAs that are less hopped than this beer. It may be the best PA I’ve had. Very bitter finish. Very well balanced and refreshing. God Bless the USA!

(07.03.06) 12 oz brown bottle from Bierkraft, Brooklyn, NYC. Poured clear deep yellow with small white head. Soft carbonation. Hoppy malt aroma. Light-to-medium bodied American pale ale that starts dry with light malt sweetness and hoppy flavor. Finished with light bitterness. Somewhat unbalanced hoppy beer lacking sufficient malt foundation. Hopheads will love this brew. Enjoyed with beer-loving family members during the 4th of July weekend.

A refreshing, quaffable APA. The body is golden orange, sporting a modest, creamy head with spidery lacing. The aroma is a blending of floral and grapefruit hop scents over caramel and toffee smells. Nicely balanced flavor with a slight edge given to the hops, always pleasurable to me. It finishes on a floral, bitter note. Nice.

Tap. This is most certainly not my preferred style of beer. Nevertheless, it was not terribly objectionable. One notes a slight taste of malty hops after the beer warms ever so slightly. However, I was served this particular beverage in a plastic cup at the Bevery Hills Tavern. Therefore, much of the crafting was distorted and underappreicated. Furthermore, this lack of proper glassware highly reduced my ability in sampling the beer’s aroma. While the citrus notes are present, the lack of complexity leaves much to be desired. Troegs pale ale is far superior.

Medium-pale, somewhat cloudy orange-marmalade colour, small head but good, semi-lasting drapes of web-like lacing. Smells strongly like fresh hops and a bit of dark cocoa -- very promising and attractive. Complex flavour: starts off sharply sweet but follows up with a hops, some citrus and tropical fruits, plus some wheaty and caramel malt flavours. One of the most lasting and bitter finishes I’ve ever tasted. There is something a bit "off" though -- maybe the peachy flavour doesn’t quite match. Overall, a very tasty, well-crafted but flawed example.

Bottle. A very good APA. Nice white head with a nice mouthfeel, good body, good balanced ale although slightly bitter with a very nice dryish finish. Would recommend this APA.

12 oz. bottle from Shoreline. Very clear, light copper. Big, creamy, rocky ~1.5" off-white head. Slowly drops. Thick layer sticks around a long time. Pretty good lacing. Aroma - Fairly strong florally, fruity hop aroma. Some orangy citrus also. Flavor - average up front bitterness, fruity, piney hop flavor in the middle, but not much of a malt backbone to balance it out. Sweet and a little dry in the finish. Palate - A little lighter than I’d like, but makes it easy drinking. Average carb. Overall - Really good APA. Could use a little more body, but the flavor and aroma are really nice. Goes down easy.

12oz bottle poured a clear pale/amber color with an average off white head. The aroma was mainly malts with some citrus hops. The taste was well rounded with a solid hop profile. Overall a decent pale.
