Commercial Description:
This uniquely American beer offers a crisp, medium-body with a light amber color. It is assertively hopped with Pacific Northwest Cascades for a firm bitterness and delightfully floral aroma.

Bottle: Nice floral hop aroma with a touch of citrus and caramel. Pours a transparent amber with a small off-white. Floral and citrusy bitterness throughout with a light caramel maltiness in the background. A very nice APA and a great session beer.

Pours dark yellow with copper tint. Mild whitish head. Nose is citrusy lemons and hops. Flavor is biter, yet light caramel, biscuity notes present. Good session beer.

Very hoppy/doughy/grassy aroma. Yellow color w/small head which fades quickly. Too bitter/out of balance to call itself an American Pale Ale, This is an IPA. If you like heavy hops, you will like this. I don’t. Long metalic/hoppy aftertaste

A very drinkable pale, closer to an IPA with leaf bitternss of hops. Juicy cascade, grapefruit aroma. Not all bitter, there is generous malting. On the strong carbonation side. Medium mouthfeel.

This is a great American Pale Ale. I’m very surprised the overall rating is so low...I suspect Americans are being spoiled by sugar. Big strong head. Crisp clean taste with a slightly dry fiinish. Perfect.

This one really comes across more as a slightly mild IPA than an APA. The body is a slightly hazed copper with a smallish head. The aroma is fruity and hoppy. Citrus, edging on harsh sails above the mellow maltiness underneath. The flavor has enough malt to bring the relatively high bitterness into check, but is actually on the dry side of things. Fairly assertive bitterness brings up the back.

(12oz bottle- Red Wagon Shoppe, Rochester MI) Not as hoppy as some pales (ie. Sierra Nevada) but well rounded, crisp and refreshing.
