| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Very hoppy/doughy/grassy aroma. Yellow color w/small head which fades quickly. Too bitter/out of balance to call itself an American Pale Ale, This is an IPA. If you like heavy hops, you will like this. I don’t. Long metalic/hoppy aftertaste Sammy (4051), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2005 A very drinkable pale, closer to an IPA with leaf bitternss of hops. Juicy cascade, grapefruit aroma. Not all bitter, there is generous malting. On the strong carbonation side. Medium mouthfeel. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 15, 2005 This is a great American Pale Ale. I’m very surprised the overall rating is so low...I suspect Americans are being spoiled by sugar. Big strong head. Crisp clean taste with a slightly dry fiinish. Perfect. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 8, 2005 This one really comes across more as a slightly mild IPA than an APA. The body is a slightly hazed copper with a smallish head. The aroma is fruity and hoppy. Citrus, edging on harsh sails above the mellow maltiness underneath. The flavor has enough malt to bring the relatively high bitterness into check, but is actually on the dry side of things. Fairly assertive bitterness brings up the back. PierreCelis (14), USA
