Commercial Description:
This uniquely American beer offers a crisp, medium-body with a light amber color. It is assertively hopped with Pacific Northwest Cascades for a firm bitterness and delightfully floral aroma.

(12oz bottle- Red Wagon Shoppe, Rochester MI) Not as hoppy as some pales (ie. Sierra Nevada) but well rounded, crisp and refreshing.

12oz. bottle. Translucent yellow orange with a small white head. Some grainy malt with lemony herbal hops in the aroma. Clean, slightly sweet malt character, with a bracing citrusy bitterness. Residual bitterness with unassuming malt peering through in the finish. Mouthfeel is light medium and rather dry.

Nose has some grassy and floral notes - light toasty malt, slight lemon. Slightly hazy gold body with a thinnish white head. Toasy malt, earthy/grassy hops. Not overly complex but nice for a session.

Pours a clear copper color with a ring of white lace. Mild aroma of floral hops and caramel. Good flavor of floral hops and caramel with a bitter finish. The body has a light to medium thickness with a dry texture and lively carbonation. It’s an ok APA but I expected more from Stoudt’s.

Bottle. Dark clear amber with an average rocky white head that diminished slowly leaving a good lacing. Good hoppy aroma. Medium body. Moderate bitter flavor with good bitter finish of average duration.

This is an excellent APA. The head was frothy and white. This hopped ale was copper in color . The flavor was of citrus and hops. This APA had a balanced bitterness. This is a very drinkable pale ale. The hoppiness was just right. This APA was purchased at Total Wine and Beer in Richmond.
