Jul 31, 2005 Poured a lighter amber with an average white head. Floral aroma with a very dry hop flavor. A little too dry for my taste, still a solid pale ale. Just not 100% what I look for in one.

Jul 6, 2005 Aroma is somewhat musty with a little hop note in there. Clear amber. This tastes pretty nice. Very good hop/malt balance. Makes for an enjoyable sipper. Goods tuff.

Jun 22, 2005 this was a great pale ale. Better than sierra nevada’s. An absolute benchmark for pale ales as far as i’m concerned.

Jun 20, 2005 Rich, copper color with a subtle amber hue. Head is cream colored with a tight, creamy head. Aroma is mineral salts blended with aggressive, citrusy (grapefruit) hops. Malt aroma is solid with some pale caramel underpinning and bread...very refreshing. Body is medium-light with the flavor staring malty then the flavor hops start their battle for superiority. It then turns malty throughout the finish. Some creaminess and drying bitterness with bready malt are sustained into a long finish. Incredibly well balanced.

Jun 17, 2005 Out of a bottle, a light airy nose, slight hop tones floral but for some reason cotton candy comes to mind. Pours a hazy amber white foamy head quickly settling to a thin sheet almost transparent. Taste was good slight hop but not overpowering and not terribly bitter. Palate was thin and watery yet crisp finish. Not too shabby.

Jun 9, 2005 i didn’t think this was anything special. I have to try some of the other stoudt beverages apparently but this wasn’t anythings special. Tasted like rolling rock.
