Commercial Description:
This uniquely American beer offers a crisp, medium-body with a light amber color. It is assertively hopped with Pacific Northwest Cascades for a firm bitterness and delightfully floral aroma.

Pours out a typical light amber color with a small frothy head. The aroma is hoppy with some sweet notes. The aroma predicts the taste very well as it is nicely hopped with a slight malt balance. A very drinkable beer.

12 oz bottle - Pours amver with a nice fluffy offwhite head that laces all the way down the glass. Aroma is of citrus and pine. The flavor is very much the same as the aroma but backed up quite nicely by sweet malts. Cascade hops make this brew memorable. A good dose of those. The palate is quite smooth and balanced. This is a great APA. I really enjoyed it.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a light amber with nice head. Leaves a nice lacing. Not very aromatic, but citrus notes are present. Solid APA flavor profile, dominated by cascade hops. Very smooth. Not overwhelmingly bitter, this one makes for a terrific session beer.

Pours a dusty orange-amber with a large and lasting white head. Big PacNW aroma of minty orange juice with a ban muffin background. Lots of orangy bittering hops in the flavor along with a generic crystal malt background and a springy dry and bitter herbal hop finish. By "herbal" I mean rhubarb stem and maple leaf. There’s a buttery feeling in the mouthfeel as well. At first I thought this APA was going to be yet another C-hop beer. It is, but it seems to be more bitter than most making for a fun drinking experience.

Very nice Pale Ale, a pleasant surprise. Graitfruit and citrus hops dominate the nose along with pine. Pour is hazy orange with a thin white head. Taste has citrus and graitfruit hops with a good bitterness. I prefer west coast Pale Ales, but this was still good.

Orange-blossom, grapefruit, pine-like character to the hops in the aroma with an underlying bready maltiness and an odd ashy note. Hazy, orange-copper with dense but thin cover of white head. Grapefruit, orange hop flavours with biscuity and bready malt notes with a moderate lingering bitterness. Crisp carbonation to the dry, well-attenuated medium body. Bottle (trade, Feb. 2005) enjoyed with MartinT, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere. Thanks, hopscotch!

The Lure:
Oranges and piney hops slide through the oily caramel. Potentially quaffing, but undecided about its potential for complexity.

The Festivities:
Earthy hop bitterness lingers with its piney companions. Round malts hug the bread crust and unite the oranges.

Transcendence:
Bright and inviting, with no ulterior responsibilities.
