| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2004 Nice murky copper color, small white head. Smells like fresh hops of citrus fame. Tastes thin but refresing, not as hoppy as I expected. sfontain (506), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 24, 2004 Pretty, orange body with lots of floating yeast; minimal head. Overall, this is a fairly weak-tasting APA, but, as such, it goes well with very many different foods and is easy to drink by itself. I like the aroma: Very floral, very fruity; not enough hops or malt in there, though. Taste is fairly subdued; mostly a malty character, along with citrus, and light but bitter hops in the finish. Very clean, very refreshing; just doesn’t linger on the palate very long. Solid. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 19, 2004 Amber color with qucily diminishing head although nice lacing. Aroma is floral with zesty grapefruit. Taste isn’t too over the top but has a more subtle dry hop bitterness to it. Nice toasted malt flavor as well. Although quaffable, this stuff isn’t as balanced as I’d like it to be. Almost like it’s has an identity crisis of what it wants to be. biznizness (951), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 16, 2004 Great beer. Very crisp and nicely hopped. I tend to think of pale ale’s as "drab" but this wasn’t at all. Not as hoppy as an IPA yet the hops are still the focal point, which I liked. Smooth... I liked it a lot. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2004 Appearance: a lovely, bright ruby-red color, and a nice off-whitish head that slims to a narrow ring.
Aroma: fruity, yet dry, nice, but nothing more.
Taste: rather easy-going, feeling a tiny bit flat.
A ringing, resounding fruity finish...body is light, texture minimal, flavor mild, although these aren’t drawbacks, I realize, as I reel back and check the intended brew against their intentions. It’s an average pale ale, very drinkable, inoffensive, least likely to scare anyone away...doesn’t please me too much, though.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 3, 2004 Reddish amber body, miniscule white head. Aroma of piney, citrusy hops that is just delicious. Impeccably smooth and drinkable while still having a fairly aggressive hop profile for an APA. This is a world-class beer.
