Small creamy and smooth white head with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly diminished. Carbonated, transparent and gold hue. Malty and hoppy aroma and a malty and hoppy flavor. Smooth and watery and thin palate. This was a medium bodied beer with sparse lacing. jeffc666 (1895), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2004 Amber, so much so that I expect to find an insect embedded in it somewhere. Medium foamy off-white head. Malty-earthy noes backed by floral hops. The flavor is just about what one would expect for an APA, medium amounts of malt balanced by just enough hops. Body is medium with lively carbonation. A nice session beer. Yankovitch333 (612), Chesapeake City, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2004 Poured a light amber with a thick white head. Floral hop nose, with hints of citrus and caramel. Hoppy pine flavor and grapefruit. Nice lingering aftertaste. A nice easy drinking beer. Great for a hop summer day. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 22, 2004 This bottled brew poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The body was softly carbonated slightly hazy and orange brown colored. The aroma was mildly mixed with notes of caramel and hops. The mouth feel was medium smooth with a overriding hoppy note and mild hop bite in the finish. The flavor was mildly hopped and contained a small caramel note to it. This would be a good APA for a person new to the style to try, but not for a hop head. pobenohne (504), Northern Liberties, Pennsylvania, USA

Really fresh: pine needle/ spicey hops - i would guess northern brewers, but the blurb says Cascade. Anyway just delicious. rhapsouldize (174), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA
