Aromas of resin, floral hops, and some bread. Flavor is bland with piney hops and watery goodness. Great session brew but nothing more. lumberjack (178), Michigan, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2009 99 cent special at The Rock...Orangeish-yellow color with a small amount of head, which fades quickly to a white ring. Lots of carbonation evident, and unfiltered-looking. Aroma is fruity hops. Flavor is grapefruit-like hops up front, with some lingering bitterness at the back end. Really enjoyable hoppy APA. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2009 Bottle: A good all-around pale ale. It has a musty hop aroma with some wet grass notes as well. Light copper coloring with a foamy one inch head. The flavors have a hop backbone with a bit of a metallic aftertaste which I didn’t like. But, overall, if I had to throw back a pale ale on a regular basis - this would be up there in the top 10 alongside friends like Sierra Nevada’s pale ale. Rustyham (565), miami, Florida, USA

Maybe because there was dust on the bottle and proteins floating around. jecunningham (1), Montoursville, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 16, 2009 slight floral aroma; color was golden, very clear, white foam; taste was nicely balanced between malt and hops, very crisp, refreshing, easy to drink, medium finish - good beer Birdiebeagle (807), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA

Aoma of mild hops and some grains. Has a very good mouthfeel and is carbinated very well. Taste was very good with a light hoppiness and very well blended. This is a darn good beer. I was impressed. Aroma wasn’t judge-able from the bottle, but the taste threw me a curveball!: tea! This beer tastes like tea! What a great idea! Tastes good in the winter, but would be absolutely perfect for summer sessions.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 23, 2009 From tap at the Reading Phillies game and subsequently from a bottle. Pours a golden yellow with one finger of head that dissipates slowly. Nice crisp smell of hops but not overpowering. Drinks extremely well with mild hop flavors that are well balanced by the malt flavor. The balance on this beer is really outstanding, highly drinkable but with great flavor too. One of my favorites of this style.
