I’ve never had anything better. Stoudt’s makes quite a variety of great beers, and this is their crown jewel. Wilecat (66), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

Everything this brewery does, I’ve been impressed with. The beer is deep, clear and orange in color. Nice eggshell colored foamy head. simple malt aroma, yet appears hearty. Very balanced, with a great hop bit at the end. I’ve had IPAs that are less hopped than this beer. It may be the best PA I’ve had. Very bitter finish. Very well balanced and refreshing. Pours a nice amber with a reasonable head. I had 2 from the tap then went in hunt of an entire case immediatley. What can I say? I just really enjoy this beer everytime I have some. Copper-amber with a nice poofy airy foam head. Classic light metallic hop aroma. Lightly smoky, almost peaty, the hoppiness leans towards the earthy, but also retains the citric bite, too. Quite a yummy APA. desurfer (1069), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA

Aroma of piney, citrusy hops that is just delicious. Impeccably smooth and drinkable while still having a fairly aggressive hop profile for an APA. This is a world-class beer. Terrific, sweet, hoppy, citrusy definitely deserves a Higher rating than its current position. Now I know there’s another great brewing state I’ve been oblivious to. Pennsylvania beers are very tasty and great surprises. This came via my 2nd shipment from Vintage cellars in Blacksburg, Va. Will have to order more in the future. Great beer.
