| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Courtesy Dickinsonbeer. Pours a very murky brown, with a light off white head. Smells of dark Belgian malts, some sweet caramel, and candy corn. Very inviting smelling. The flavor had alot of Belgian Quad characters, so I was surprised to see this labeled as a dunkler bock, although age could have somehting to do with it. Bottle wa from 2001. Pretty swet overall, alot of dark fruits, grapes, figs, etc. The caramel takes more of a backseat, but is seemingly there for balance. Glad I got to try this, as it has seemingly aged gracefully. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA

Brown body with medium strong head. Aroma is very malty, almost old ale like. Lots of chocolate with even a light herbal hints to round off the aged, sweet beer. Full of flavor, yet light and very quaffable. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 23, 2007 Carmel, oat, raisin, and hazelnut in the nose as well as the mouth. Smooth nuttyness and slightly tannic as dark grains make an appearance. Sightly sour and grainy but finishes clean with bread and roasted malts.
