Poured a hazy amber color with a medium sized beige head. Sweet dark fruits make up the aroma. and the flavor. Semi-dry finish with a medium body. Thanks to the person who brought this to Madness @ Mel’s

Bottle (2001)... VBWT2008... Hazy brown ale with a mid-sized, frothy, off-white head. Estery, caramel apple aroma and flavor. Medium-bodied, but thin and watery with light carbonation. Lengthy red apple finish with mild tanginess and a bittersweet finale. mgumby10 provided the bottle and for that I say “cheers, Mike!”

Courtesy mgumby10. Pours a candy caramel color, with tons of lacing and frothy head. Aroma is sweet candy, toffee, caramel. Nice. Flavor is ripe raisins/plum, caramel, soft molasses, some nougat. Enjoyed the aroma more. Thin-bodied, watery finish.

Courtesy Dickinsonbeer. Pours a very murky brown, with a light off white head. Smells of dark Belgian malts, some sweet caramel, and candy corn. Very inviting smelling. The flavor had alot of Belgian Quad characters, so I was surprised to see this labeled as a dunkler bock, although age could have somehting to do with it. Bottle wa from 2001. Pretty swet overall, alot of dark fruits, grapes, figs, etc. The caramel takes more of a backseat, but is seemingly there for balance. Glad I got to try this, as it has seemingly aged gracefully.

Thanks to Ragallach. Dark mahogany pour, medium white head. Aroma is cherry pie, caramel. Flavor is caramel, nutty, toffee, with a sour brett taste. Smokey finish, chocolate and roastiness with a touch of dark fruits.

Thanks to RallachMC for sharing. Pour is a dark brown. Small white head. Aroma of biscut, caramel, sweet malts. Flavor of butterscotch, caramel...very sweet. Medium mouth and smooth. Holds up well considering the age.

Who thought a bock could age his gracefully? 750ml shared at BCTC. Brown body with medium strong head. Aroma is very malty, almost old ale like. Lots of chocolate with even a light herbal hints to round off the aged, sweet beer. Full of flavor, yet light and very quaffable.

Carmel, oat, raisin, and hazelnut in the nose as well as the mouth. Smooth nuttyness and slightly tannic as dark grains make an appearance. Sightly sour and grainy but finishes clean with bread and roasted malts.
