Bottle at the Black Friday tasting by way of the Footman. Thanks Rudy! Pours a cloudy iced tea color with zero head. The nose is sweet fruity iced tea, booze and bubblegum. The taste is caramel, brown sugar and fruits. Medium flat body. Ok beer.

bottle shared by footy on 11/27/2009. hazy pour looks similar to cherry stained wood. no head on this one. smells alcoholic and bubblegum-y initially. after that blows off it reveals notes of golden raisins, florals, cinnamon, brown sugar, grain and some sort of odd tartness. alcohol remains present. the flavor is exactly the same... except is is cloyingly sweet. that weird tartness shows up on the finish and is the only thing making an attempt to keep this drinkable... ok, the alcohol does too. but, it seems harsh. the body is full giving me one more reason on top of the sticky mouth feel not to continue drinking it. 6/4/5/2/12/2.9

Bottle sampled @ the Black Friday tasting...thanks RUDY!!! Lots of caramel and bubble gum, along with banana...not a very good representation of the style but not terrible. Better than a macro, but not very good. Medium mouthfeel.

Sampled from a bottle procured by footy -- thanks, Rudy! Pours amber in color with a trim beige head. Smells of flowers and bubble gum -- definitely not what I was expecting from a quad. Tastes of black tea, cherry cough medicine (almost like Arctic Devil), caramel, and pie spices. Unawesome.

GABF 09. Pours a light woody amber with a fizzy head. Aroma is sweet, sugary, fruity esters, phenolics, slight solvent and high fusels, some cinnamon and other spices as well- clove. Flavor is fruity- toast, caramel, toffee, molasses, overly sweet, with too much phenol and solvent- a bit messy and too fruity belgian yeasty- dirty- harsh high abv finish- meh.
