Commercial Description:
Imperial Pilsener - The newest batch of the "Brewers Reserve Series" is an Imperial version of our flagship Pils. Big Brother was brewed with the sametypes of malt and hops as its predecessor, only more of them. Big Brother is well balanced with a malty sweetness up front, and a classic Czech Saaz flavor in the finish. This beer was brewed to celebrate Michael Jackson's influence on the craft beer industry. Very limited availability - sixtels only. 60 ibu 8 % ABV

Incredible beer. Looks a smells like a pilsner, but the added alcohol give it an incredible smoothness and, oddly, increased drinkability. Perfectly balanced with enough hops to cut through the bit of sweetness. My favorite imperial pils by far, a shame that it was so limited.

Draft. Medium gold pour with white head. Nose is pale malt, heavy Saaz hops, honey, mild fruit. Crisp tasting with initial Saaz hop and pale malt flavors giving way to some apricotty fruit and lemonrassy hay notes. Crisp and smooth, this one is very good, although I prefer their regular pils.

On draft at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured golden with white head. Solid lacing. This beer is dominated by a grassy, hoppy finish. Saaz all the way. Suprised to see 8% ABV. Alcohol not noticeable. Worth trying again.

Draft at the brewery...pours clear amber, white head...nice floral, hoppy aroma...smooth mouthfeel, citrus, mild hoppy bitterness yet sweet at the same time...right up my alley, really good.

Draught at TDR Ex: Aroma of hops, lemon, grass, and a bit of soap. Poured golden/yellow in color with a medium-sized, rocky, white head. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly bitter and lightly sweet. Tastes of citrus, lemon, hops, herbs, pine, grass, and a hint of bubblegum. Medium body. Tingly texture. Lively carbonation. Bitter citrus and Pils malt finish. Hold the Pilsner flavor very well for an imperial Pils.

Tap at Stoudt’s Brewing. Very pale golden straw colour with a fluffy white head. Lots of fresh bright zesty hop aroma. A bit of light honey as well. Fresh noble hop flavour over a very lean pils malt base. Less syrupy than most other impy pils I’ve had. Very light breadiness and some lingering lemony citrus and zesty spiciness. More hallertauer/tettnanger-like hoppiness than saaz. Really excellent brew with a soft crisp bitterness.

light hopped malty aroma. The body is clear and pale, the color of budweiser. There is a sweet honey aroma as well. the flavor is also full of honey with more American hops than expected. Not bad for a pilsner

On tap at Jose Pistolas. Pours a translucent golden with a small bubbly white head. Flavor of pils malt, floral, orange and some caramel. Flavor was nice and hoppy, citrus, pine, orange, clean, crisp and sweet maltiness.
