FROTHINGSLOSH (1486), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2008 Sampled on draft at D’s in Monroeville PA this beer poured a dark red-chestnut color with a large khaki head that lingers. The aroma was strong with fruity and floral hops - though a bit harsh. The flavor was bitter and full of strong floral hops and strong harsh fruity hops. The finish was long and bitter. Pours out a very interesting very dark copper almost a reddish hued brown with a moderate creamy off white head. Very nice aroma of some citrus and pine hops, but also some toasted bready notes. Taste is very well balanced, citrus hops come through throughout with some caramel, toasted malt and some grain. Very well done and wonderfully balanced.
