| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 2, 2007 On tap at the Bocktown in the Robinson Shopping Complex. Ubiquitous pale yellow american beer color. Has a beery aroma, nothing interesting sticks out about the smell except that it certainly smells like beer. First taste impression is a medium alky malty impact. Has goos medium carbonatiion. At the commencement the alky impact is very apparent but this fades as the session continues. Perhaps my taste buds are becomming numb. The development of this beer on the palate is evovling and interesting. You expect a bitter finish because of the initial alky impact but the finish yields to something that is pretty mild. Nice overall beer except for that miss behaved initial flavor hit. Probably not as good as Victory St. Boisterous Hellerbock or Nova Paka Valdstejn. On par with Erie Brewing Golden Fleece Maibock.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 29, 2007 Pours a light amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of toasted malts, toffee, and some yeast. More flavor then the aroma leads on to. Starts off with the toasted malts and toffee that give way to the yeast and a slight hint of floral hops. Not much of a lingering flavor. This brew is okay, better then what I was expecting. LinusStick (1856), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 27, 2007 This is a ho-hum beer. Tastes like a pale lager with a honey mixed in. Aroma was weak. Pour was a dark gold with no head. It is pretty tasty but not something to get excited about. Too sweet for my taste. Funknmilla (604), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 18, 2007 Updated: Apr 20, 2007Bottle. Pale golden color with a rocky white head. Grassy and toasty, metallic, lager for sure. Popcorn in there too, some how. Pleasant but subdued. Flavor is more in your face - toasty and smooth, short finish. Something about the way this beer coats your mouth that I don’t like, carbonation is fine. Overall not bad, but I’m not usually a bock fan, as a general statement. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 16, 2007 Clear sparkling dark gold, fizzy white head. Nice nose of grassy florals, toasted bread, honeyed cereal and grains, and touches of pepper. Floral hop flavors balance out the bready caramel grainy tones from start to finish. Light to medium bodied, fizzy carbonation, dry sweet finish. Very easy to down.... hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
