| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Clear amber with a medium head. Fair lacing. Aroma of grains and bread. Barely noticeable hops, or maybe I’m just imagining it. Tastes mostly of the grains and malts. Medium body. Not bad. ehhdayton (1113), USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 1, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of finely sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a softly carbonated orange colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was malty and oatmeal. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops. bmurray (20), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2007 I couldn’t find a case of Victory’s St. Boisterous so the owner of Ryan’s beverage suggested the Mai-bock. An excellent suggestion. Light brown with an off-white head. A rich but short lasting musky sweetness takes over. Reminds me of Chimay Red, except with the carbination of a lager. Everything finishes off very nicely except for the alcohol. Leaves your upper front throat warm for a little while. iowaherkeye (1859), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2007 12oz Best Before 8/28/06. Pours a clear orange with a minimal eggshell head, fading to a ring. It does rouse pretty well for a little bit though. Aroma of sugar cookies, caramel, biscuity malts, and some light grassy hops. Flavor has the addition of some grain, a little alcohol, a bit of earth, and overall fairly sweet--not really anywhere near cloying. Minimal bitterness. Light to moderate carbonation with a smooth medium body. Even though this is past its due date, it’s still pretty good stuff. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 20, 2007 12oz bottle pours golden with a pretty nice white head. Aromas of good caramel malts, some raisin, grainy notes and some yeast. Flavor is dough, caramel, yeast, raisin, honey, and some slight spicey hops at the finish. Silky mouthfeel with adequate carbonation.. I thought this was a rather interesting beer.. Not a style you see around lots... JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
