Sep 25, 2008 bottle - Pours copper and lightly cloudy with a thin, lingering head. Naturally is smells heavily of hops. There are floral and citrus notes. It’s quickly apparent by the taste that this one is very big on the malt too. It’s not as bitter as I expected. Citrus hops are partially buried by the heavy malt and the result tastes pretty good, but I think misses the complexity of hops flavors that some better examples of this style capture.

Sep 21, 2008 An almost 6 month old bottle in trade from raverjames. Specifically requested a fresh bottle before trading and this is not what I had hoped for. Pours an orange amber color, cloudy, and with a nice lasting light beige head. Smell is mild and nondescript light, stale hops. Taste is bitter, grassy and alcoholic with some dull stale fruitiness and prominent malt flavor, but mostly alcoholic and unimpressive. No citrus notes or crisp hop flavors in this beer at all. Best case, a stale DIPA, and worst case, just another overly hot, unimpressively flavored DIPA. A notch above "drainpour", but still not worth finishing.

Sep 20, 2008 On tap at Jean Bonnet tavern. Light amber incolor, big floral hops fragrance and big hop taste with fruits and apples., not much head but some lacing. Finishes with just the right level of bitterness.

Sep 12, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours golden orange with a large white head. Aroma is nice and strong grapefruit and sweet caramel aromas. Flavor is strong citrusy hops with caramel, solid bitterness. A nice IIPA.

Sep 7, 2008 This is good 10.6 hardly noticable. Pours cloudy golden with a massive head. Aroma: sweet citrus with hops overpowering very very nice aroma. Flavor is nice. Hoppy but not as powerful as I was expecting more sweet malts than most x2IPAs. Good.

Sep 4, 2008 Really enjoyed this beer. Poured a clear amber color into a tulip glass with a one finger white head. Aroma was sweet malt and citrus hops. Flavor is well balanced between a sweet malt flavor and a bitter hop bite. Medium body with medium carbonation. Very good beer.

Aug 24, 2008 Bottle: Clear copper pour with a smaller white head. Nose is hoppy and sweet, citrus and caramel mostly. Taste is rich and flavorful as the aroma would lead. Rich, potent, and smooth. Plenty of citrus and floral bitters. Nice. Thanks Matt.

Aug 24, 2008 Bottle pours out a cloudy gold topped with a white head. Aroma of floral hops. Tast of nice floral ans some citrus. A very nice bitter end. Thanks Pinkzambia
