Faint grapefruit hop scent (it’s a bit cold). Creamy and vinuous, oily and solid body. Flavorful candy sugar, gummi bears and grapefruit and mandarin orange hop flavor. Decently bitter and drying on the palate, but not a full-blown palate wrecker. Well-made, but a little watery and plain over the middle and in the finish. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 4, 2007 quite a high abv for an IPA, but they balanced the hops well and it settles decent. eboats (888), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Poured deep orange with a small white head. Aroma was sweet citrus hops with some alcohol. I detected a possibility of orange in the flavor. Other than that I tasted herbs with a slight sweetness. Overall it seemed rather bland. The body was watery yet sticky. Had a slight warming from the alcohol in the finish. RoboHop (21), Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 1, 2007 Hoppy, citrusy aroma. Orange, clear appearance, with a small amount of white head. Hoppy, citrusy flavor, with a creamy, full-bodied palate. It has that great bitter finish. Overall, it has the quality of higher-priced DIPA’s. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Mar 31, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a hazy with fine particulate typically carbonated and an excellent lacing. The aroma was malty musty and mild hop. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and thick with hops. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2007 Bottle - sweet malt aroma with grassy and spicy hops. Dirty golden colored body with a smallish white head. I may have babied the pour. Flavor is beautiful! Plenty of malt, but more than balanced by the hops. I get orange, peach, grapefruit and much more. Full-bodied and just a beautiful beer. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 28, 2007 Pours a orange red, with a light white head. Smells pretty heavy on the hops as expected, but with a good amount of malts to balance it out pretty well. The taste is quite hoppy as well, but somewhat syrupy too, and the malts were definitely present throughout this brew. I think this was an older one because the others I have had in the past were big hop bombs. Still a very good brew. cab (864), Denmark
