I don’t know who’s dog that is but I’d love to scratch him behind his lil’ ear for being a part of a great beer like this. The aroma was of roasted malt and coffee. The pour looks like what came out of the ground when ol’ Jed was shootin’ at some food. Dark black and thick with a small tan head. The taste is huge. Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and some coffee round out this outstanding stout. Great Stout, Stoudt! porterhouse (1163), Alna, Maine, USA

One finger of tan head that recedes to a thin layer that stays. Aroma is first grapey, then dark chocolate, followed by some roasted coffee and maybe some cherry. Mouthfeel is medium full, pretty smooth but a bit fizzy. Thin rings of fine webby lacing. Flavor is grapes followed by dark chocolate with some coffee and maybe a hint of cherry in the background. Some lingering dark chocolate and coffee aftertaste. Thought the palate may be a little lacking for the style but nice aroma and flavor. MPA (515), Nørrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark
