| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 6, 2006 A very fat stout. Almost could be classified as an Imperial oatmeal stout. Brings a heavy and smooth taste with great drinkability. Typical stout offerings with toastiness and unusual dryness on the end. Very Nice. jgd0608 (187), Zeeland, Michigan, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Nov 1, 2006 Thanks Dennis! Pours black with a thin beige head which quickly dissipates. Strong chocolate and coffee notes, could smell it since i cracked it. Sweet taste, thick, choclate, coffee, hazel, with the slightest hint of alcohol. Malt works wonderfully. Very good impy, very well balanced. just delish. unfortunately i’ve heard it doesn’t age well, as i have a few tucked away back in michigan just chillin...
