| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 27, 2005 (12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with hopdog, thanks Steve!) Very hazy and medium straw in color, the body has a tall, creamy, white head that very slowly settles to a thin, but complete layer. Significant amount of large carbonation bubbles rise swiftly through the beer, aiding in some degree to head retention. The nose is lightly sweet and bready, hoppy and quite grassy. Fruity, mildly sweet, and gently bready, this flavorful brew is well balanced by a grassy hoppiness. Light-medium bodied, trending toward medium. Large patches of intricate lace decorate the glass. Decent, probably better than most American versions of this style, but that’s not enough to make me want to drink this often. fatty (363), Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA

Appears a light gold with a small cap. No lacing.
Smell is of light maltiness with a bit of corn syrup standing out.
Taste is of light malt and corn syrup mixed with honey.
Mouthfeel is slightly sweet with average carbonation.
Drinkability is not bad. A good change of pace from the norm lager. hopdog (5630), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas and tastes of earth, citrus and some malts. I had a harder time picking out the flavors and aromas. Lightly sweet with a thin body. TomDecapolis (3221), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
