| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 27, 2005 Very clear gold with lasting white head that produces nice lacing. Aroma is malty and sweet with light malts and a tiny bit of bitterness. The first taste is sweet and malty. A tangy, slightly sour toasted malt flavor that has a clean, sweet, and slightly bitter finish. jasonp (1513), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2005 Nice clear deep golden with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel, grains and some light floral hops. Taste has notes of caramel, grass, grain, honey, citrus/lemon and some pilsneresque hops. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter finish. Medium-full body which coats the mouth nicely, pretty lively carbonation. No lacing, ok head retention. Pretty good beer. egajdzis (3640), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Earthy, grassy, lemony, light citrus, sharp hoppy aroma. Malty, grainy, very low bitterness and mild carbonation. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2005 Thanx, richlikebeer! Poured Gold, with a thick foamy head, that diminished but hung around the edge. Aroma of yeast and malts. A bit heavy with the carbonation, but I feel this will subside with some warmth. This is true to the style, but not one of my favs, Nice brew though I would not seek it out again. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2005 The aroma for this almost made me not want to drink it. It smelled skunky, almost like the malts were stale. In the glass is a light amber color, with foamy white head that clings to the sides of the glass. So at that point, I wasn’t really impressed. But then I actually drank it...perfectly smooth body, goes down easy....the flavor is a solid balance of hops with the malts acting as a counterbalance through the middle of the mouthful. At the end, the bitterness of the hops is a little strong, but the crispness of the taste off your tounge is excellent. I’m glad I did drink it. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA
