I think Im just not a fan of the lager style. Poured a pretty golden color with a fizzy soda-like head that disapeared quickly. Clean and crisp, but nothing very interesting. Perhaps on a hot afternoon it would be refreshing.

Bottle. This was pretty good but I don’t think it was as good as most of the other Stoudts brews. Although for a Dortmunder/Helles its got it goin on. Fire: Lit.

Daddy likey. There is something beautiful about a nice lager. Crisp, smooth, it almost feels like it shouldn’t be this good. Of course I have love for the Dortmunder style after spending summer 2003 there. NICE brew.

Pours a nice clear golden yello with a good amount of fizzy white head. Aroma kinda like sweet bread. Taste is very nice, balance of malts and some fruit flavors. Nice crisp and light on the palate. Overall, quite good.

Pours a golden beer with a clinging white head. Smells very malty. Tastes comes off a bit flat in the finish with a malt profile i would describe as average.

Light golden with a small, white head. Aroma very yeasty/bready. Flavor also bready, with some clean, pleasant malts, and a very light hop hit for the finish. Very clean and light, yet full, with just-right, medium carbonation. Not mindblowing compared to other styles, but within the style this is solid.

Medium bodied - full golden colour with a decent head. Crisp flavor - light aftertaste, light bitter & light hoppy. Very smoothly textured beer.

2004 bottle. Pours a bright yellow, with deep gold hues and a foamy white head. Aroma of lightly sour yeast and corn notes, with hints of earthy, hearty hops and rich white bread (unbleached flour). Flavor has hints of bitterness throughout but is mostly full of creamy, honey and dough-like malty sweetness. Good medium to medium full body, but still alot of attenuation making this seem like you are drinking a bigger beer.
