| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Bottle. Light golden pour with a big white head. Strange aroma, noble type hops are there but a strong dark fruit presence pleasantly dominates. The German personality comes through in the taste, has a nice hop character, and oddly, a little fruit note. Different and enjoyable. FatTony (121), Augusta, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2008 12 ounce bottle- poured out a deep, clear golden with a moderate white head. Aroma was malt and yeast, standard lager. Taste was great, just what a lager should be, subtle fruity sweetness highlighted the slight bitter bite. Sroudts has yet to disappoint me. doogie (24), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2008 Pours amber with a white head with an aroma of malt and yeast. The flavor is a nice balance of malt and hops with hints of fruit that finishes clean. Reminders if Munich - a nice beer. fredandboboflo (1417), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 29, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of cereals, grains, bitter hops. Flavor more of the same, with light fruits, a touch too bitter at times for the delicate fruits and grains. Still, quite tasty and refreshing. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours out a darker yellow to light orange color with a white head on it. Smell is fruity and pretty hoppy - but the hops disappear with the taste. It is refreshing, but not as hopped as I would like to see. Sadly, I knocked the motherfucker over and lost about half the beer. Oh well. I would have it again, but not seek it out.
