Bottle. Moderate cereal note for the malt, light lemon and dough for the hops and yeast, with hints of ripe banana and tea. Head is small, fizzy, white with virtually no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear yellow. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a fizzy carbonation and a lightly dry finish. Not much here to talk about, but it is an easy drinking German Hefeweizen.

12 oz. Body is a nearly opaque (after swirling the sediment into the brew), orange-pear color with a quickly disappearing head. Nice spicy-banana nose, with an undercurrent of crackers and a hint of orange-lemon. Front taste is banana, clove, pear, and zesty orange. Finish is citrus bubblegum, dry wheat and a hint of resin. Light body is acidic-tingly and refreshing. Nice little heifer with what tastes like an authentic Bavarian yeast strain.

Pours bright gold into a Sam glass. Bright white cola head crackles and recedes to hug rim. Clove and banana aromas. Crisp with wheat, cloves, banana and slight bubblegum. Dry finish. Not a hefe - no sediment and a crackly little head; but still a good flavored wheat.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: wild haze inside, some bigger floaties on this amber gold brew. Mid top with shorter lifespan.
Nose: proper weizen feel , citric tartness of wheat grain , some sweets around, hint of clove.
Flavor/Palate : mid light bodied. Organic feel with noticeable sediment on palate, soft with citric character. Mild wheat with emptier finish. Proper but uninspired without finishing touches.

Best of the style I’ve had in a long time. Aroma is fresh and loaded with wheat and sweet malt. Pours a cloudy yellow with a nice head. Flavor is spice and root beer. Just a touch of sweetness but the finish is very dry. Good stuff from in my opinion an underrated brewery.

12oz bottle. Ranked 2nd out of 4 in my blind Hefe tasting [4th Arbor Bavarian Bliss, 3rd Sam Adams, 1st Victory Sunrise] Pours a hazy but bright straw color with a small fine white froth 3.5. Aroma is quite sweet, reminds me of Plank’s hefe, ripe banana, estery, some crackers, lightly fruity, hint of creamy vanilla. Flavor is candied banana, crackers, very wheaty, waxy vanilla, bright and sweet, some spiciness reminiscent of a wit, sharp quick dry finish with a vacant aftertaste 6.5. Medium/light bodied with an abundance of larger corse fizzy carbonation, very airy packing peanuts feel, a very light syrupiness left after swallowing, too much carbonation overall.

Pours hazy yelllow-gold with a thick head that thins out but leaves decent lacing. This is citrusy, wheaty, yeasty, soft, mild spice. Flavors are what to be expected from a solid but perhaps unspectacular hefe. Refreshing. Nothing out of place. This works. No problems having it again.
