In my opinion this is a bland hefeweizen, it’s not bad though, it’s actually pretty good, it just seems to lack something that the better hefeweizens have. obguthr (1032), Poquoson, Virginia, USA

Aroma was wheaty and clovey. At first sip, I thought the mouthfeel was just too carbonated and the "roughness" just turned me off...but I really liked the flavor of this one, especially as it warmed. Wheaty, spicey (cloves) with some bubblegum/orangey undertones. Sweet but not overdone. Some sediment at the bottom. Nice. I’m a fan of Stoudts.
Aug. 2008 Rerate - I still like this. Slight bump up. b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

Very nice carbonation. Flavor is sweet but not too citrusy with banana notes. Very smooth, without being flat. gabbama (116), Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, USA

A nice flavor that could be described about the same way. Nice refreshing carbonation. Overall, not bad. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 14, 2007 Bottle. There was a gob of yeast on the bottom of my bottle but none poured out leaving a beautiful clear golden body with lots of carbonation. Clean bready aroma with a light hop touch. A bitter hop leafiness starts the flavor with yeast and bread following. A basic but very drinkable beer. Speedle (262), Mid-Atlantic (Tour 2007-2008), Virginia, USA
