Hazy, gold appearance with a medium size white head and modest lacing. Yeasty aroma, with the typical esters that are true to the style. Smooth, well rounded, medium bodied mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Malty, fruity, relatively sweet, spicy taste. Tart, dry, short lived finish.

Ugh...I love Stoudt’s but this is not a good offering. Aroma is nice..banana and wheat. Pour was a disappointing flat light gold that was both clear and void of any real head. The taste was medium carbonation (I expect higher from a hefe) and thick, with a lot of yeast and wheat tartness with some citrus in the aftertaste. This is way too thick for a hefe and the finish is way too wet. I must try another bottle. I can’t imagine it’s supposed to taste like this.

Pours gold with slight haze and small off white head. Initially the aroma had lots of banana and bubble gum followed by a wheat and slight tart citrus smell. The lively carbonation allows for a burst of sweetness and lemon that turn less and less sweet with the addition of wheated malt toward the middle of the taste experience. Beyond midway spices and yeast notes join in. Nice hot weather brew.

Pours a light, somewhat cloudy gold with a thick, nearly-white head. The aroma is strong of yeasty, doughy, bread. There are also hints of grassiness, sweet malts, a some spice in the aroma. The flavor starts off with a very floral, creamy, citrusy burst of malts and wheat. The middle of the tongue detects a touch of spicy yeast and some spicy hops that complement the carbonation bite excellently. The finish is dry and bittersweet - full of spicy yeast, sweet malts, and floral hops. The mouthfeel is creamy and medium in body with a large - yet perfectly appropriate - does of CO2. Overall, a very respectable weizen. It could use more wheat (bottle indicates only 50% wheat - whereas some Bavarian weizens go as high as 2/3 wheat). But other flavors are spot on.

Pours a cloudy golden body and tall finely laced white dollop of head. The aroma is very authentic and fresh. Nice banana like esters, some bubblegum, sweet honey like doughy-ness. The flavor brings all the same, but with a nice round spiciness, light on clove and a dash of black peppercorn. The palate is buttery and finishes with a fine air of complexity. - Very Impressed.. and well done!

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a small but lasting white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of bananas, light clove, wheat, citrus, and spicy yeast phenolics. Taste is the same as aroma. Thin mouthfeel with a very mild bitterness. A good beer for summer

Very typically German aroma with baana, cloves and some yeasty notes but with a good bit of hotdog water and sour fruity notes. The body is a pale yellow and holds a finger thick, bubbly, white head. Lots of fresh cereal grains/wheat and milder banana/yeast notes. No strong clove notes, but some mild spice. Very fresh and grainy though with a strong dose of cream and banana in the finish. The mouthfeel seems a little thin and not as creamy as would be ideal but on the whole.....I like.

Pours a slightly cloudy pale yellow with a big well retained white head. very spicy aroma, nutmeg, wheat, coriander, and orange citrus really stand out. The taste is of big wheat, sweet nutmeg, and citrus. The nutmeg taste actually really dominates here, makes it very sweet on the palate. Easy drinking wheat, big on flavor. Finishes clean, and leaves a sweetness on the lips as it passes by. Pretty good.
