Aroma of husky wheat and citrus, light yeasty phenols with notes of medicine, banana and band-aids. Taste is sweet and yeasty with the typical banana and bubblegum, with mild spicy notes of clove. Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with lively carbonation. The yeast flavor is a bit subdued compared to the German examples. The wheat flavor is not as pronounced either. Still an enjoyable beer. Very wheaty, very smooth, and ended with a delightful clove/cinnamon flavoring which served to delight, but not overpower. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
