Pours light golden and cloudy with a fully receding white head. Aroma of husky wheat and citrus, light yeasty phenols with notes of medicine, banana and band-aids. Taste is sweet and yeasty with the typical banana and bubblegum, with mild spicy notes of clove. Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with lively carbonation. The yeast flavor is a bit subdued compared to the German examples. The wheat flavor is not as pronounced either. Still an enjoyable beer.

Hazy yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Estery nose, banana and clove dominating. Spicy. Light banana and clove also dominate the flavor. Somewhat acidic palate. Thin and unimpressive.

A very good Hefeweizen. A prime example of what an American Hefeweizen should be. Very wheaty, very smooth, and ended with a delightful clove/cinnamon flavoring which served to delight, but not overpower.

straw macro appearance with white head...aroma of wet socks, minerals, clove, banana, and yeast...flavor is somewhat bready, with wheat, yeast, and a chalk-like finish...never will drink this again

Bottle from the brewery. Hazy golden-straw body with abundant visible carbonation and a soft, pure white head. Aroma of flowers, bananas, light lemon citrus, yeast ydough, and very mild sulfur. Nice fresh wheat malt character with yeasty notes and pleasant esters. Soft mouthfeel. Very solid American-brewed hefeweizen when fresh.

Murky orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma is primarily yeast and banana. Nice carbonation in the mouthfeel. Bubblegum start moving into some citrus and wheat, somewhat spicy. Pretty good stuff.

tap at brewery. Poured light straw yellow with a small white foam. Flavor was quite crisp and refreshing. Love the bananas in the finish. Good stuf.

Draft at Hop Devil Grill. Light yellow with a nice, white head. Aroma is mellow, sweet banana and subtle grains. Taste has a smooth banana dipped in white chocolate taste with just the lightest hop taste.
