12 oz bottle-clear light golden color w/a slight white head. Sweet, spiced aroma. Looks kind of thin & weak, but it sure doesn’t taste that way. Sweet spiced flavor, candied sugar, lemon, pepper, colander, banana, & orange peel. Very smooth & easy to drink, makes me wonder what the ABV is (surprised it’s not listed, but it isn’t on the bottle or the Website!). Great session brew, very enjoyable!

Bottle at the Febmergency tasting. Pours cloudy light yellow with a pink hue and a little white head. The aroma is burnt rubber, crackers, and lemon. The flavor is fruit, rubber, and a kind of strange sweetness. Not diggin’ this one at all.

Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this one at his Februmergency Tasting. I like mey German Hefeweizens to be a cloudy bright yellow with a tall lasting white head and flavors and aromas of banana, clove and yeasty malt. Much of that was lacking in this one. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Sweet candy lemon aroma. Lightly bitter flavor profile with many of the characteristic "hefe" esters missing. light bodied.

Bottle at decaturstevo’s Februmergency Tasting for those of us that missed out on Sexual Chocolate ’09. Pours a hazy milky yellow with ample white head. Nose of lemon, pepper, and wheat. Flavor was clove, citrus, hints of banana, and spicy yeast. A better than average for style i suppose.

Hazy headless yellow, with lots of suspended yeast. Sweet clovey aroma with a touch of citrus and urine. Nice spicy taste with vanilla, clove and a hint of cherrylike tartness. Light organic fruit soda aftertaste. $2/12oz

Bottle. Cloudy yellow morning pee color, with little head. Aromas of spice, some clove and banana. Strong flavor of clove with a background of banana and a touch of coriander with orange peel. Mouthfeel is a bit on the oily side, but not bad. Finish is a bit to be desired.

12oz bottle 9/18/08 (Bodega Blue Artisan Cheese)-Labeled Stoudt’s Weizen-Pours a hazy golden yellow with no head. It had an aroma of nothing. The flavor had a little banana and clove. This light bodied brew was an ok beer.

Slightly hazed gold pour with a creamy head and lace. Bannanas, spice, corriander on the nose. Bannanas, clove, and a fruity bitter. A bit thin with decent carbonation. Pretty solid hefe.
