| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 2, 2003 Poured an amber brownish color with a small white head. Had a dominant citrusy hop aroma with some spicy malt. Taste was malty, slightly hoppy and sweet as well. This brew ended up being slightly spicy (very slightly) with a rather bland taste, for a holiday ale. Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA

I will have to go back and check it out again. bluemeow76 (693), Lewis Center, Ohio, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 14, 2003 Very carmelly, Heck I like this one but what do I know? Pours like a American Standard Lager, but he color is much darker. Malty, carmelly, sweet. Same finish. I'll have more of these! Dogbrick (2855), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 11, 2003 Winter 2002/2003 Bottle: Dark ruby/amber with a medium light beige head. Aroma is lightly spiced and malty. Flavor is not as spicy as many holiday brews. This brew is mostly on the malt side with some hops and spice, but neither in great quantity. On the scale of most holiday brews I have tried this is on the mild side but it was better than average.
