Smells of grain, mild citrus, mild cinnamon, subtle hops. The taste is kind of grainy, defintely bitter, some funky citrus, and that mild cinnamon taste in the finish. Not really a big fan of this style, always a little too bitter for me. This one wasn’t too bad though. Its drinkable. ChainGangGuy (2592), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Appearance: Pours a light, brass-hued body with a wispy, off-white head. Well, and I don’t want to jump the gun too much on the review, but here’s a little preview: the body seems a bit too light.
Smell: Mild, sweet treacle aroma with grains and some sourness.
Taste: To be truthful, the flavor is bland and fleeting. Faint sweet malts mix with a breadiness and a nearly indiscernible hop flavor all the way through to the peppery finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body that’s decidely watery. The lack of body is disappointing.
Drinkability: Light and simple. So, you know, that’s cool, if that’s your thing. Me, I’ll stick to other examples of the style or, better yet, Stoudt’s other beers. aerosol999 (113), Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 12, 2007 Aroma: Malty with floral hops. Nutty and biscuity
Appearance: Copper gold with low head
Flavour: Biscuity Munich malt profile rich full and clean. No fermentation esters. Honeyish and a low lager yeast sulphur bite
Mouthfeel: Fluffy and meduim bodied.
Overall: Very light and easy drinking lager with full rich Munich malt flavour and aroma. Starts maly and finishes dry with lingering hop flavour. The best of the American Oktoberfests I’ve had yet. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 4, 2007 great fall seasonal brew, flavor had malt influence, some hops, overall very good in its style, could easily handle a couple of these for a relaxing night of drinking. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Clear, orange amber body with lots of medium-quick rising tiny bubbles and a very creamy disappearing light tan head. Caramel flavouring with a thick and toasty long aftertaste. Medium body. Well-blended, quite tasty. jerc (3947), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 17, 2007 Crisp dark amber-copper, small beige head fades. Toasty caramel malt, very light malty tang. Similar flavour with toasty malt and very light bitterness. Average palate, touch under carbonated. Pleasant but a bit dull. Shared by Mabel. golubj (1290), Sunnyvale, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 3, 2007 Poured an opaque, light copper. Whitish head. Aroma of caramel malt, a little sweet. Pretty good balance between the malt and hops, although hops were a little muted. An easy drinking beer for sure, but not anything to get excited about.
