Pretty bland. Not up to German standards. I’m a fan of Stoudts brews, especially their double IPA, but this is the lowest rating I’ve given to any of their beers.

Bottle. Poured dark amber with an average frothy off-white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate toasted malty aroma. Medium body. Medium sweet malty citrus flavor with a medium sour citrus finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.

Decent Oktoberfest... sort of a mild version. A little sweetness with the lager character. This is not one of my favorite styles, in fact it is my arch-nemesis style and haunts me to this day.

Poured the usual amber-orange color with a nice head that sustained itself quite well and was nice fluffy-frothy up to the last sip. The aroma was malty and musty. The flavor was malty (mostly caramel), bready, and even a bit nutty. Spices were lacking, and the finish was more like an amber ale or lager than anything else (hoppy). I like more spice in my fest biers. Not one to seek out, but ok to drink.

Pours a brwon/amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma is bread and sweet malts. Flavor was candied malts and carmel with some yeast coming through in the finish. Hops well hidden. Not a big fan of this style but it is drinkable.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours amber-copper with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, hops, and caramel. Flavor is smooth, sweet malt, carbonated, thin mouth feel yet drinkable.

12 oz bottle. Clear amber colour with a thick sticky off-white head. Sweet caramel and light breadiness. Like the pils some spicy hop flavour comes out, but the malt bill is a little bit sweet and sticky. It gets cloying with 12 oz, I couldn’t imagine drinking it by the litre. A bit buttery as well which isn’t helping the mouthfeel.

pours amber-copper with a decent sized compact, quickly disapating head, aroma of sweet malts, hops, and caramel. flavor is smooth, sweet, malty, slightly carbonated. body was thin for an oktoberfest style beer.
